Approximately 6 million people come from abroad to visit Bavaro Beach. And yes, we were there and I can personally say it’s stunning!

After reading so many reviews we chose to stay at Barceló Bávaro Palace. What a happy choice! This place is unbelievable.

As a couple, we understand that you are probably looking for a luxurious and romantic experience, and we are thrilled to talk about our stunning oceanfront suite, which certainly was the highlight of our trip. After some research, my husband and I decided to book the Junior Suite Sea Front Premium Level. We were wondering about the Adults Only section, but we were more than happy with our choice. 

The room is big and there is no better experience than a room with a private balcony if you wish to wake up with breathtaking views of the ocean. In addition to the best views, the renovated rooms with private balconies have a jacuzzi. It’s awesome! The best experience you can ask for in an all-inclusive resort. No matter if you are a sunset or sunrise lover, do yourself a favor and pay extra to get a Junior Suite Sea Front Premium Level!

And remember, couples are welcome to spend the day in the Adults Only area. If you are looking to relax in a place far from kids, you can get a chair or  in one of the restaurants in the private area focusing on adults only. 

Dining – how to take advantage of the best restaurants in the all-inclusive packages?

Barceló Bávaro Palace offers a diverse range of dining options to suit every palate, from international cuisine to local specialties. With over a dozen restaurants and bars on-site, you’ll never run out of options.

Some of the top-rated restaurants at Barceló Bávaro include La Comedie, a French restaurant with a romantic atmosphere, and the Beach Club Restaurant, which offers fresh seafood and ocean views. You can also enjoy a variety of snacks and drinks at the resort’s beach bars and snack bars. Also, there are drinks and snacks as a courtesy in your room.

As a Premium guest, you will receive a special wrist, which gives you preference to book the restaurants including a premium selection of drinks. Tables with ocean views, for instance, are reserved for premium guests.

Barceló Bávaro also offers a wellness program that includes yoga, meditation, and pilates classes. You can also join in on a wellness activity such as a beach run or nature walk. If you’re looking to unwind and indulge, the U Spa at Barcelo Bavaro offers a range of treatments and services to help you relax and rejuvenate. In addition to the treatments and massages, everyone can book 1 hour to use the spa with infinity pool, the views are gorgeous especially at sunset.

Entertainment and activities at Barceló Bávaro

Whether you’re looking for relaxation or adventure, Barcelo Bavaro offers a variety of activities. Water sports such as kayaking, snorkeling, and paddleboarding are available and free for guests. If you are looking to explore the city, there are a few travel agencies inside of the resort where you can buy day trips leaving from the hotel or even see the Dominican Republic from above, exploring something more fun, such as parasailing. The tour to Scape Park including the magical Hoyo Azu was our favorite place to visit.

If you’re looking to stay active, the resort offers a fitness center, tennis courts, and a mini-golf course. You can also join in on daily activities like dance lessons, beach volleyball, and aqua aerobics.

At night, the resort comes alive with a variety of entertainment options, including live music, shows, and themed parties. You can also try your luck at the on-site casino, or enjoy a cocktail, or a bunch of them at one of the resort’s bars.

The lobby is imponent and features several stores selling everything from souvenirs and gifts to clothing and accessories. Jewelry, beachwear are available for guests looking for unique gifts. In addition to shopping, the area also offers a variety of services and amenities that guests may need during their stay, such as a pharmacy, a beauty salon, tour desk with excursions and activities and of the highlights of the shopping area is the on-site mini-market, which is open 24 hours a day offering a wide selection of snacks, drinks, and other essentials.

Conclusion about our experience at Barceló Bávaro Palace in Punta Cana

My husband and I spent 1 week at Barceló Bávaro and we couldn’t ask for a better experience! We were working remotely and had a pleasant vacation while working from the hotel. Overall, Barceló Bávaro Palace in Punta Cana is a fantastic choice for a Caribbean getaway. With its stunning location, luxurious accommodations, and wide range of amenities and services, the resort offers everything you need for a memorable vacation.
